This Privacy Policy explains how QuikFliks LLC ("QuikFliks," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the QuikFliks mobile application (the "App") and quikfliks.tv (the "Site"), together the "Service." It is written to meet the disclosure requirements of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

§ 01

Introduction

QuikFliks is a micro-episodic vertical drama streaming app. We offer a free, ad-supported tier and a virtual-currency ("Coins") tier that lets you unlock individual episodes. This policy covers both.

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

§ 02

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

• Account information — email address, display name, and password (or a linked sign-in credential such as Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In), managed via Firebase Authentication.
• Communications — messages you send us for support, feedback, or legal requests.
• Purchase confirmations — when you buy Coins or a subscription, Apple or Google processes your payment; we receive a purchase/transaction receipt to grant your Coins or entitlement. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — episodes viewed, watch time, playback position, series followed, and in-app navigation, collected via Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.
• Device information — device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, and general performance/crash diagnostics.
• Advertising identifiers — Apple's IDFA (only after you grant App Tracking Transparency permission) or Android's Advertising ID, used by our ad partner to serve and measure ads.
• Approximate location — derived from IP address or device locale, used for regional content availability, currency, and ad targeting. We do not collect precise GPS location.

Information from third parties

• If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information (name, email) that you authorize those providers to share.
• Apple and Google share purchase/subscription status with us so we can grant and reconcile Coins and entitlements.

§ 03

How we use information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including your account, watchlist, and Coin balance.
• Process purchases and reconcile Coin grants with Apple/Google receipts.
• Personalize content recommendations and remember playback position.
• Serve and measure advertising in the free, ad-supported tier.
• Monitor performance, diagnose crashes, and improve app stability and features.
• Communicate with you about updates, new episodes, or support requests.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

§ 04

Advertising & analytics

Our free tier is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. AdMob may use advertising identifiers and app usage data to serve ads, including personalized ads, and to pay us for ad impressions and completions. AdMob's own data practices are described in Google's Ads Policy.

We also use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (Google) to understand how the app is used and to fix bugs. See Firebase's privacy and security policy.

Your ad choices

iOS: When prompted by App Tracking Transparency, you may decline tracking; you can also change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Android: You can opt out of interest-based ads or reset your Advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads. Declining tracking does not stop ads from showing — it limits how they are personalized.

§ 05

Purchases & coins

All purchases of Coins or subscriptions are billed and processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, not by QuikFliks directly. We never see or store your payment card, bank, or full billing details — that information is held by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies. We receive a transaction record sufficient to credit your account.

§ 06

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

• Service providers — Google (Firebase, AdMob), Vimeo, and other vendors who process data on our behalf to operate the Service.
• Apple & Google — to process payments, manage app distribution, and comply with platform requirements.
• Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of QuikFliks, our users, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a comparable one.
• With your consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection.

§ 07

Data retention

We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations (including purchase records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize personal information within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

§ 08

Children's privacy

QuikFliks is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. QuikFliks content is rated for a general/teen audience — see the age rating shown on the App Store or Google Play listing. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under the applicable age without verified parental consent, we will delete it. Parents who believe their child has provided us information may contact us at quikfliksinfo@gmail.com.

§ 09

Your privacy choices

• Access & update — review and update your account information in-app under Settings → Profile.
• Delete your account — request deletion in-app under Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing quikfliksinfo@gmail.com. We will delete your personal data as described in Data retention.
• Marketing communications — opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
• Push notifications — control these in your device's system settings.
• Ad personalization — see Advertising & analytics above.

§ 10

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, as described in Information we collect.
• Request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising identifiers with AdMob for personalized ads may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under CPRA — you can opt out using the device-level controls described in Advertising & analytics, or by emailing us at quikfliksinfo@gmail.com with subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information."
• Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email quikfliksinfo@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.

§ 11

Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit (TLS), Firebase security rules, and access controls — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

§ 12

International users

QuikFliks is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

§ 13

Third-party links & services

The Service may link to third-party sites or rely on third-party SDKs (see the table in § 04). This policy does not cover those third parties' practices; please review their own privacy policies.

§ 14

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
